These are a good quality  bamboo  . i often use bamboo because you can get a good effect with th sea pattern .I've been  amazed at how different woods affect the actual resin pattern.Remember if you flip the board over and chop on the back it keeps the resin cover shining aand unscratched .Making a good decorative and functional item for your kitchen . How about hanging a group of boards on the wall and making a feature of them
